The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to provide classroom support, assist with learning activities, and encourage pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
The Role
• Support teaching and learning within the classroom
• Help to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using a calm and consistent approach
• Assist with classroom preparation and educational resources
The Ideal Candidate
• Have experience working with children in a school or educational setting
• Is confident in managing challenging behaviour in a patient and proactive manner
• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
Requirements
• References covering the last 5 years
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
