Job Description

We are currently working alongside a welcoming and supportive primary school in St Helens that is looking to appoint a dedicated Year 5 Teacher for a long-term position starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to join a friendly school community and make a lasting impact within Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Create a positive classroom atmosphere that supports learning and pupil wellbeing
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Monitor progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement
• Prepare pupils for the transition into upper Key Stage 2
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure positive outcomes for pupils

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
• Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Is passionate about supporting pupils both academically and personally
