Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a caring and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Warrington from September. The school is seeking a passionate educator who can create a nurturing and engaging learning environment while supporting children during the early stages of their educational journey.

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Deliver early phonics and communication activities to support learning
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt activities to meet individual needs
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience within EYFS or a strong understanding of early years teaching
• Demonstrates excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Has a nurturing and creative approach to learning
• Is passionate about supporting children’s development during the foundation stage
• Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
