Job Purpose
We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) in Handsworth.
Key Responsibilities – Teaching & Learning Support
Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
Deliver targeted intervention sessions
Assist with classroom learning activities
Promote confidence and independence
Work alongside the class teacher
Support pupil progress and engagement
Person Requirements
Experience supporting SEND pupils
Understanding of MLD needs
Positive and proactive attitude
Strong communication skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Two satisfactory references
Qualifications
No formal qualifications required.
