We are working with a number of primary schools across the Welshpool area who are seeking enthusiastic and committed Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants to join them on a supply basis from September. These opportunities offer the flexibility to work around your schedule while gaining valuable experience across a variety of educational settings.
As part of your role, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, assist pupils with their learning and development, and help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You may work with whole classes, small groups, or provide one-to-one support, depending on the needs of the school.
We welcome applications from experienced Teaching Assistants as well as individuals with relevant childcare, youth work, or educational support experience. Strong Welsh language skills and a passion for supporting children’s learning are essential.

We are looking for reliable and responsible individuals, who are passionate about working with children to help them strive and make their school experience a fun and safe environment by giving them the tools to reach their full potential.
Your responsibilities will be to support the teacher in delivering lessons and activities in a safe and engaging manner, assisting in the preparation of lessons plans and learning resources and encouraging positive behaviour and supporting the teacher with classroom management.
Ideally, we ask for 3 months minimum experience working with children or have a child-based qualification. We do consider candidates who have transferable skills, this means having experience working in social care, coaching, or nursing.
Teaching, Learning or Classroom Assistants are now vital resources for teachers and are heavily relied upon in schools. We specialise in recruiting Teaching Assistants (TA) who are qualified in the following.
We’ll also consider experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who have previously held a job in a primary school or assisted a pupil in the role in a secondary school but do not hold any of the above qualifications.
