As a learning support assistant, you’ll play a vital role in providing tailored support to students with diverse learning needs. Your responsibilities will include working closely with teachers to implement individual education plans, providing one-to-one support to students, and creating a supportive learning environment where all students can thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting students with additional learning needs to achieve their full potential.
Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to implement individualised learning strategies.
Providing one-to-one and small group support to students in various subjects and activities.
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued and supported.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 months’ experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
Enthusiasm for the role and dedication to working with students with additional learning needs.
Enhanced DBS clearance, registered with the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
Registration with the Education Workforce Council.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
