The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with the ability to deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 and, where required, Key Stage 5. They will demonstrate excellent classroom management, strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to different school environments and subject areas. The candidate will be flexible, reliable and confident in delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining continuity of learning, and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where high standards of behaviour and achievement are promoted. They will have a sound understanding of the National Curriculum, current assessment practices and safeguarding responsibilities, together with the ability to differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND and those requiring additional challenge. The successful applicant will establish positive relationships with students, staff and parents, work effectively as part of a school team, and demonstrate professionalism, resilience and a commitment to supporting the welfare and progress of every learner.

Hold QTS status
Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges

Maintain discipline
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
