We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist provision in Knowsley on a full-time basis. The Role
Full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant position
Supporting pupils with SEMH needs across Key Stages 3 and 4
Opportunity to join a caring and well-established support team
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small-group support tailored to pupils’ individual needs
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing in line with school policies
Assist teachers in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
Has experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs, ideally within a school setting
Demonstrates strong communication and behaviour-management skills
Is patient, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with pupils
Brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and a positive attitude to the role
