Job Purpose
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Stechford on a full-time maternity cover basis for a KS2 class.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging lessons, inspire young learners and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to ensure pupils continue to make excellent academic and personal progress throughout the maternity cover period.
Key Responsibilities – Teaching & Learning
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Assess, monitor and record pupil progress
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
Promote positive behaviour and high expectations within the classroom
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and senior leaders
Participate fully in school life, meetings and professional development opportunities
Person Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Experience teaching within a UK primary school
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Two satisfactory professional references
Qualifications
Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
