A lively mainstream primary school in Balsall Heath is looking to employ Level 3 Qualified Early Years staff. The school is extending their nursery and will now have 2 year olds on role.
This is a ‘temp to perm’ position meaning that after a brief period of working through the agency you will be transferred onto a direct permanent contract with the school. With this in mind the local education authority requires school staff to have a minimum of a Grade C/4 or equivalent in Maths and English.
Key Responsibilities
Working in ratio with children aged 2-4 years
Supporting learning and development in all areas of the EYFS Curriculum
Working as part of a team with the teacher and TAs in the class and the wider school staff
Providing feedback to the teacher and parents
Person Requirements
Level 3 Early Years Qualification
Current Full Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Grade C/4 or above at GCSE in Maths and English OR equivalent
Experience in children with additional needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or we can put one in place for you)
Two satisfactory references covering a minimum of two years
