Job Description

New Directions is seeking a passionate and committed Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school based in Old Swan. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire pupils during a crucial stage of their education, helping them develop the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to succeed both in the classroom and beyond.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
  • Adapt confidently to different school environments and year groups.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment while following school policies and lesson plans.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Strong classroom management skills and a flexible, positive approach.
  • Is reflective in their practice and committed to continuous professional development.

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Able to provide employment references covering the last two years.
  • Right to work in the UK.
