As an SEMH Teacher, you will:

Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced challenges in education
Create a safe, nurturing and structured learning environment
Support the emotional wellbeing and personal development of students
Work collaboratively with support staff, families and external professionals
Celebrate every achievement, no matter how big or small
What We’re Looking For
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
– Experience working with SEMH, SEND or challenging behaviour is desirable
– A resilient, patient and compassionate approach
– Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
– A passion for helping vulnerable young people succeed
– Ability to engage, motivate and inspire learners who may be disengaged from education
