Are you passionate about supporting children on an individual basis and helping them reach their full potential?
We’re recruiting 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work within primary schools across Ellesmere Port, with a number of long-term opportunities available from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced TAs, SEND professionals or candidates with transferable experience who are looking for a rewarding role where they can make a genuine difference to a child’s school experience.
The Role
Providing dedicated 1:1 support to pupils within a primary school setting
Supporting children with their learning, development and wellbeing
Working closely with class teachers and the wider SEND team
Delivering targeted support and helping pupils engage with classroom learning
Encouraging confidence, independence and positive relationships
Adapting your approach to meet each child’s individual needs
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working with children is highly desirable
Experience supporting SEND or additional learning needs is beneficial
A patient, caring and nurturing approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, proactive and committed to supporting pupils consistently
A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
