1:1 Teaching Assistant – Primary Ages, Cheshire West and Chester

Are you passionate about supporting children on an individual basis and helping them reach their full potential?

We’re recruiting 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work within primary schools across Ellesmere Port, with a number of long-term opportunities available from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced TAs, SEND professionals or candidates with transferable experience who are looking for a rewarding role where they can make a genuine difference to a child’s school experience.

The Role

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support to pupils within a primary school setting
• Supporting children with their learning, development and wellbeing
• Working closely with class teachers and the wider SEND team
• Delivering targeted support and helping pupils engage with classroom learning
• Encouraging confidence, independence and positive relationships
• Adapting your approach to meet each child’s individual needs

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working with children is highly desirable
• Experience supporting SEND or additional learning needs is beneficial
• A patient, caring and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, proactive and committed to supporting pupils consistently
• A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
