New Directions Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Crewe and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting students and helping them make progress in their learning.
Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.
• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
• Supporting students with a range of learning needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Promoting students’ confidence, independence, and development
• Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting classroom preparation and daily routines
• Monitoring student progress where required
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
• Experience working with children or within education (desirable)
• A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• A full driving licence and access to transport (beneficial)
All applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check and provide appropriate professional references.
