Job Description

A secondary school in Warrington is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join their department with an immediate start through to Christmas. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who is passionate about business education and committed to helping students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for future study and employment. We do require you to have QTS in order to fulfil this role.

The Role

  • Full-time Business Studies teaching role with an immediate start until Christmas
  • Teaching Business Studies across Key Stage 4 and Post-16
  • Delivering BTEC Business Studies qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons that cater to a range of abilities
  • Deliver and assess BTEC Business Studies coursework and assignments
  • Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation, discussion, and independent learning
  • Assess pupil progress and provide feedback to support improvement and attainment
  • Prepare students for assessments in line with curriculum and BTEC requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching Business Studies within a secondary school setting
  • Has experience delivering BTEC Business Studies qualifications
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Has excellent subject knowledge
  • Is committed to supporting pupil progress and engagement in learning
