We are looking for individuals who can confidently step into the classroom, support learning across all primary key stages, and make a positive impact on pupils’ educational journeys.

About the Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting both teachers and pupils across a variety of year groups. Working closely with school staff, you will help deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted interventions, and occasionally lead whole-class learning when required.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons in the teacher’s absence
• Supporting pupils across Early Years, KS1 and KS2
• Leading small group and one-to-one intervention sessions
• Assisting with lesson planning and classroom preparation
• Supporting children with a range of learning needs
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents

What We’re Looking For

– A recognised HLTA qualification

– Previous experience working within a primary school setting

– Strong classroom management skills and confidence leading learning activities

– The ability to adapt to different year groups and school environments

– Enthusiasm, resilience and a genuine passion for education

– Excellent communication and organisational skills
