As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils with additional learning needs engage successfully in school life.
You could be supporting children with:
Whether working on a 1:1 basis or with small groups, you will play an important role in helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning.
– Experience working with children or young people
– Previous SEN experience in a school, care, support work, nursery, youth work, or similar setting
– A calm, patient, and compassionate approach
– Strong communication and teamwork skills
– A genuine commitment to supporting children with additional needs
– Flexibility and adaptability within different educational environments
