£550- £650 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
New Directions Education are looking for a confident and enthusiastic HLTA to join a welcoming primary school in Ashton-under-Lyne. The school is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, build positive relationships with pupils and bring plenty of energy to the classroom.
This could suit an experienced HLTA, a strong Level 3 TA looking to take the next step, or someone with a teaching qualification who enjoys a hands-on role supporting pupils across school.
About the school & role
A welcoming mainstream primary school in Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside, with good transport links.
Supporting across the school and taking the lead with classes when required, including covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
Working with different year groups and adapting your approach to meet the needs of individual pupils, while keeping lessons engaging and purposeful.
The ideal candidate
Holds a HLTA qualification, Level 3 TA qualification, PGCE or another relevant teaching/support qualification.
Has solid primary school experience and feels confident leading a class independently.
SEMH knowledge or experience would be beneficial, alongside a calm, consistent and positive approach to supporting pupils.
