Additional Needs Support Assistant – Trainee

Our outstanding SEN Secondary school in Knowsley who pride themselves on their rounded, vibrant approach. This extremely nurturing and supportive setting offers a unique approach to individualised learning, following an informal, play-based curriculum to support children with a range of differing needs. You will provide 1:1 and classroom support, helping students developing their skill set and confidence.

We are happy to accept applicants with a Social Care, Health Care Assistant and Social Care background.

Responsibilities of the role included but are not limited to:

• Have excellent communication skills.
• Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff.
• Be encouraging and supportive.
• Have a positive attitude towards teaching and aiding students development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the student.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
