An exciting opportunity has become available for a creative and committed teacher to join a thriving school in St Helens. We are looking for a specialist in BTEC Graphics and Art & Design who can inspire students to express themselves creatively while achieving excellent outcomes.

The Role:
As a BTEC Graphics with Art & Design Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ creative, practical and digital design skills. You will support learners in building their portfolios, completing coursework and achieving success in both vocational and creative qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality BTEC Graphics and Art & Design lessons.
Plan engaging projects that inspire creativity and independent thinking.
Assess, monitor and track student progress.
Support students with coursework and portfolio development.
Adapt lessons to meet the needs of individual learners.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Encourage students to develop both their artistic and technical abilities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve strong student outcomes.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching BTEC Graphics is essential.
Experience teaching Art & Design at secondary level.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A passion for creative education and student achievement.
Ability to inspire and motivate learners of varying abilities.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
