New Directions are looking to recruit an experienced Chemistry Teacher who is able to work with students studying up to Key Stage 5. This is a long term position that may turn permanent in the future.
The successful candidate will need to show that they are able to plan effectively to this level, taking into consideration the individual needs to the students. You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who is able to consistently demonstrate the highest standards of delivery. As a Science Teacher you’ll be expected to:
Teach all areas of your subject specialism
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment

Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
