An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Chemistry Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Liverpool from January until the end of the academic year. This role is ideal for a confident subject specialist who can deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
Joining a supportive Science department, you’ll play a key role in preparing students for examinations, developing their scientific understanding and inspiring the next generation of scientists. This position would suit a teacher who has valubale experience teaching KS5 Chemistry & is looking to make an immediate impact within a thriving school environment. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
The Role:
As a Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. You will foster a positive learning environment, support student achievement and encourage a passion for Science through engaging and practical teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
Assess, monitor and track student progress.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student outcomes.
