About the Role
Deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher
Maintain a focused and productive learning environment
Manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently in line with school policy
Ensure pupils remain on task and complete the work set
Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil progress and behaviour
The Ideal Candidate
Previous school-based experience is essential
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to command a classroom
Confident, resilient, and professional approach
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Considering a career in teaching (desirable but not essential)
Requirements
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Employment references covering the last 5 years
