New Directions are currently recruiting for a Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to work in an outstanding mainstream secondary school in Liverpool. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:
Full-time teaching position delivering Design and Technology to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to GCSE preparation.
Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons in areas such as resistant materials, product design, or engineering, using a variety of tools, equipment, and digital technologies.
Create a stimulating learning environment that supports pupils of all abilities, including those with mild SEND or EAL needs.
Collaborate with the DT department and wider school team to track progress, assess outcomes, and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
The Ideal Teacher:
Hold qualified teacher status (QTS)
Be able to provide a school-based reference within the last 5 years
