About the Role
Teach French across KS3 and KS4
Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum and GCSE specifications
At KS3:
Develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
Build phonics, pronunciation and core grammar knowledge
Encourage confidence and enjoyment in language learning
At KS4:
Prepare pupils for GCSE French
Support extended speaking and writing responses
Teach a range of tenses and grammatical structures
Develop exam skills and cultural awareness
Promote positive behaviour for learning
Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
The Ideal Candidate
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching French at KS3 and/or KS4 (ECTs welcome)
Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
Ability to motivate pupils of varying abilities
Experience supporting disadvantaged pupils is desirable
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
