You will be delivering engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintaining high standards of behaviour, and supporting students’ academic progress in the absence of their usual teacher.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver pre-planned History lessons in line with the national curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Manage classroom behaviour effectively
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
Mark work where required and provide feedback
Comply with school policies and safeguarding procedures
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in History
Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (KS3/KS4)
Strong classroom management skills
Flexibility, reliability, and a professional attitude
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
