New Directions are currently recruiting for a KS2 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Great Sankey area of Warrington.
This is a full-time, long-term position starting as soon as possible, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role:
- Full-time KS2 Class Teacher responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Teaching a class across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, adapting learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Assessing pupil progress and using assessment effectively to inform future planning.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
- Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other members of staff.
- Maintaining high expectations of behaviour, attainment and pupil engagement.
- Contributing to wider school life and working as part of the school team.
The Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2 is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum.
- A confident and engaging teaching style.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- The ability to plan and deliver creative, differentiated and engaging lessons.
- A commitment to supporting every child to achieve their potential.
- Someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and keen to become part of a school community.
