New Directions is working with a large secondary school in Leeds currently looking for a committed, enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant, to support students both in and outside of the classroom. This is a secondary school that places inclusivity at the heart of all practice allowing staff, students and families to feel valued and respected.
This is a full-time role to start as soon as possible.
Learning Support Assistant role:
To provide extra support to students
To deliver intervention groups directed by class teachers and SENCOs
To develop strong professional relationships
To help create an inclusive, positive learning environment
To promote student engagement and a love of learning
