We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible General Teaching Assistant to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. The successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers to help deliver engaging lessons and provide pupils with the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed.
This role involves supporting pupils both individually and in small or larger groups, reinforcing learning objectives, and helping to create a structured and positive classroom environment. You will assist with lesson preparation, classroom management, and daily routines, ensuring that all pupils have the opportunity to participate fully in lessons.
The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying ways to support pupils’ learning, confident in assisting with a variety of subjects and activities, and able to adapt quickly to the needs of different classes and pupils. You will also help supervise pupils during breaks, transitions, and school activities, contributing to a safe, orderly, and supportive school environment.
