Job Description

£525 – £575 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

Are you a qualified, EYFS-focused Teaching Assistant looking for your next long-term opportunity? New Directions are currently recruiting for a TA3 to join a primary school in North Manchester, starting in early October. EYFS will be your main focus, with some additional lesson cover across the school when needed. This is a temp-to-perm position, ideal for someone looking to settle into a school and become part of the team permanently.

About the school & role

• The school is based in Cheetham Hill area in North Manchester, and is a busy mainstream primary setting with children across the full primary age range.
• EYFS will be your main focus, supporting children through play-based learning, communication and early development. You’ll also be asked to provide teaching cover across other year groups when required.
• Starting in early October, this is a temp-to-perm opportunity, so consistency and a genuine commitment to the school are important.

The ideal candidate

• Must hold a relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (HLTA or equivalent) and have experience working in a primary school setting.
• Has a genuine passion for EYFS and understands how to support young children’s learning, development, communication and independence.
• Is reliable, adaptable and committed, with the confidence to work across different year groups and the flexibility to support wherever needed.
