A Exemplary primary school based in Warrington are looking to fill the role of a supportive Level 3 teaching assistant. This opportunity arises as the school seeks to maintain its high standards of education and student support.
To support teaching and learning across the school by working with individuals, small groups, and whole classes under the direction of the class teacher. The role includes delivering targeted interventions, supporting pupils with additional needs, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The Role
• Provide support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-structured classroom environment
• Deliver daily phonics sessions, using the Read Write Inc. programme (training can be provided)
• Work with individuals and small groups of pupils to reinforce learning
The Ideal Candidate
• Is caring, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting children’s development
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) • Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
• Is committed to supporting pupils in early reading and phonics development
Requirements
• References covering the last 5 years
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
