We are seeking dedicated and nurturing Level 2 Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive school based in Liverpool. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work closely with pupils, providing tailored support that helps them grow in confidence, develop key skills, and succeed both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils with their learning across a range of subjects.
Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce classroom learning.
Assist in the preparation of learning resources and activities.
Promote positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.
Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.
Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals.
Monitor and record pupil progress under the guidance of the teacher.
What We’re Looking For
Relevant Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification or equivalent.
Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach.
A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
