New Directions is working with a number of schools across Solihull and Shirley. Our client schools range from small 1-form-entry mainstream primary schools through to larger schools. When it comes to SEND support, all of our client schools ensure to provide the correct level of support from Resource Bases or 1 to 1 support
The schools require qualified and dedicated teachers who have the best interests of the children at heart and are committed to holding the pupils they teach to the same high expectations of the schools. Planning is not required for day to day cover work, however this may become an expectation should you be offered a long-term role.
New Directions is looking for teachers who hold themselves to high standards of conduct and presentation to represent the agency in providing the best education to the pupils of our client schools.
Working hours are 8:30 to 3:30, working 3 to 5 days per week Monday to Friday during term-time. At New Directions, we pride ourselves on the fantastic service we provide not just to our client schools but also our agency staff, ensuring to take into consideration requirements such as travel time and locations.
Person Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), applications from ECTs welcomed
TRN / TRA Check
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or we can put one in place for you)
Two satisfactory references covering a minimum of two years
