As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing. Working alongside teachers and school staff, you will help create a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one or small group basis
Assisting children with additional learning needs and SEND requirements
Encouraging positive behaviour and participation in lessons
Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills
Supporting teachers with classroom activities and learning resources
Contributing to a safe, nurturing and inclusive school environment
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children or young people is desirable
A patient, positive and supportive attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Flexibility and adaptability across different school settings
