New Directions Education are looking to appoint an experienced school administrator. We have full-time, long-term temporary positions available in primary schools in Caerphilly.
All applicants must be available to work Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 4pm, term-time only.
Our clients are seeking organised, professional and adaptable individuals, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience working in a school office is essential and all applicants must be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the School Information Management System (SIMS). Previous experience using OLAS is highly desirable.
Primary school administrators are required to work independently, overseeing the day to day running of the busy school office, therefore all applicants must be confident in the role.

We recruit a wide variety of School Office Staff roles, including school secretaries, receptionists, administrators, and school clerks.
Duties are varied and may include the following:
School Office Staff must be well organised as well as having excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must also be able to work well under pressure and be able to prioritise tasks.
Candidates will ideally have previous experience working within a school office. Working knowledge of SIMS system is advantageous.
Schools will expect all school support staff to have a good standard of education, some previous office work experience and ideally previous experience working within an educational setting.
