New Directions are looking to appoint an experienced School Administrator, to provide temporary support to primary schools in Cardiff.
Due to the nature of temporary roles, all applicants must be flexible, reliable and willing to work in various local schools, covering long and short term internal staff absences.
The working hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 4pm, term-time only.
Our clients are seeking applicants with previous school office experience and an excellent knowledge of the School Information Management System (SIMS). Previous experience managing school finances will also be beneficial.
The successful candidate will be professional, organised and have excellent communication, as primary school administrators are the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and pupils.
We recruit a wide variety of School Office Staff roles, including school secretaries, receptionists, administrators, and school clerks.
Duties are varied and may include the following:
School Office Staff must be well organised as well as having excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must also be able to work well under pressure and be able to prioritise tasks.
Candidates will ideally have previous experience working within a school office. Working knowledge of SIMS system is advantageous.
Schools will expect all school support staff to have a good standard of education, some previous office work experience and ideally previous experience working within an educational setting.
