Job Description

New Directions Education are currently recruiting Primary Teachers for schools across Northwich and the surrounding areas, with a range of day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities available.

These roles are ideal for teachers looking for flexibility, a new school environment or the opportunity to work across a variety of primary settings.

Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.

The Role:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Planning and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all students
• Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Managing behaviour effectively and maintaining high expectations
• Supporting students with their academic, social and emotional development
• Assessing and monitoring student progress where required
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of abilities and needs
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A flexible, reliable and professional approach
• A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve their potential
