We are looking for a talented & enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a secondary school in St Helen’s to join their science department from January through to June next year. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who is passionate about science education and committed to helping students develop their curiosity, knowledge, and understanding of the world around them.

The Role
Part-time Science teaching role (3-4 days per week) from January to June
Teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Biology specialism preferred

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons that cater to a range of abilities
Teach Biology and general Science in line with curriculum requirements
Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation, enquiry, and achievement
Assess pupil progress and provide feedback to support improvement and attainment
Prepare students for assessments and examinations in line with curriculum expectations
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
Has strong subject knowledge, with Biology being the preferred specialism
Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
Is committed to supporting pupil progress and engagement in learning
Can work effectively as part of a collaborative department team
