The Role:
As a Graphics & Design Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire students and develop their understanding of graphic design principles, digital design techniques and creative processes. You will work with learners to help them achieve their academic and vocational goals while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality Graphics & Design lessons to students.
Teach and assess BTEC Graphics qualifications.
Plan engaging projects that develop creative and technical skills.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Create a positive and inspiring classroom environment.
Support students in developing their portfolios and coursework.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and student outcomes.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching BTEC Graphics is essential.
Strong subject knowledge in Graphics, Design or a related field.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to inspire creativity and engagement in learners.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
