New Directions Education are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to support our partnership school’s across the Wirral. Do you have a passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential? We’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Assistants to join our team, providing valuable support to teachers and pupils across a variety of primary and secondary.

As a Classroom Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. You’ll assist the class teacher with daily activities, help manage classroom behaviour, and offer one-to-one or small group support to pupils who may need additional guidance. Your enthusiasm, patience, and strong communication skills will help students feel confident and supported in their learning journey.

The role is ideal for someone with experience working with children in education, childcare, youth work, or similar support settings. If you enjoy being part of a collaborative team and making a meaningful contribution.

• Has experience working with children of young people
• Is confident, proactive and adaptable to different classroom environments
• Uses initiative to support both teachers and pupils effectively
