The Role
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and pupils to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Your day could include:
Supporting students in the classroom across a range of subjects.
Working with individuals and small groups to help them engage with their learning.
Providing additional support to students who may have barriers to learning.
Helping students develop their confidence, independence and social skills.
Supporting teachers with classroom activities and resources.
Building positive and trusting relationships with students.
Contributing to a calm, inclusive and encouraging school environment.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school or education setting.
Is passionate about helping students succeed.
Has a patient, positive and encouraging approach.
Can build strong relationships with young people.
Is confident working as part of a team.
Is reliable, adaptable and willing to get involved.
Has excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour!
