We’re currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with complex needs in specialist settings across Wednesbury.
This role involves working closely with children and young people with severe Autism (ASD) and challenging behaviour, providing consistent, structured support throughout the school day.
What this role involves
You’ll be supporting pupils who may:
Have limited verbal communication
Require support with emotional regulation
Display behaviours that challenge
Need a calm, patient, and consistent approach
Support is typically 1:1 or in small groups, within specialist or alternative provision settings.
Who this role is suited to
This role would suit someone who:
Has experience supporting severe ASD and/or challenging behaviour
Comes from a background in SEN, care, support work, or similar
Is calm under pressure and resilient
Understands the importance of routine, boundaries, and trust
This is a rewarding but hands-on role, where patience and consistency are key.

📍 Location: Wednesbury, WS10 ⏰ Hours: Full-time / Part-timeoptions available 💷 Pay: £92.63 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
You’ll be working with a SEND-specialist education agency that focuses on placing the right staff into the right settings.
All roles are subject to enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks.
