This is a full-time, long-term position with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
You will be teaching pupils with a range of additional needs, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that support both academic progress and personal development. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed staff team and make a meaningful difference to the lives of young people.
The Role
Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEND.
Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and the wider school team to support pupil progress.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.
Experience teaching within a SEND school or Alternative Provision is desirable but not essential.
Requirements
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Able to provide employment references covering the last two years.
Right to work in the UK.
