Location: M9 – North Manchester £160–£210 per day (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
New Directions are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to work in a primary SEND school based in the M9 area of North Manchester. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, although the school may also consider part-time applicants for the right candidate.

Provides specialist education and support for primary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), catering to a range of additional and complex needs.
Offers a supportive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally.
Has a strong focus on individualised learning, ensuring every child receives the support and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.
The Role:
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs and abilities of primary-aged pupils with SEND.
Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, which may include Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, communication difficulties and complex learning needs.
Creating a positive, structured and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning, independence and personal development.
Working closely with Teaching Assistants, support staff, parents and external professionals to ensure pupils receive consistent and effective support.
Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning targets and EHCP outcomes.
The Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has previous experience teaching within a SEND or specialist primary setting.
Has a good understanding of different SEND needs and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to support individual learners.
Is patient, nurturing, resilient and passionate about making a positive difference to children’s lives.
Can demonstrate strong classroom management and the ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
