New Directions Education are seeking student teachers who are graduating this August to work as Newly Qualified Primary Teachers in local schools in Cardiff from the start of September. There are currently around 98 Primary Schools in Cardiff, and they are all looking for new enthusiastic teachers to engage with pupils and encourage new ways of learning alongside the Welsh curriculum.
This is a great opportunity for a Newly Qualfied Teacher to gain vital experience working in different schools and covering different age groups ranging from Nursery to Year 6 classes with the option of working withing ALN settings alongside. Whilst working with New Directions on supply you will be able to complete your NQT year logging your sessions with the EWC , completing lesson observations in schools you have built relationships with and having regular check in calls with your mentor and account manager.
You are in total control of your availability, we can currently offer part time / full-time roles depending on what suits you best. Your dedicated account manager will tailor the work to your preferences and likes and place you in settings that you enjoy teaching in. We can also offer financial stability whilst working on supply with us by offering a Guaranteed Payment Scheme for the new Academic Year.
Requirements
QTS Certificate
EWC Registration (Contact to register on 029 20 46 00 99)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Can complete via New Directions if required)
Safeguarding Level 2 Training (Completed via New Directions)
