Teaching Assistant, Bridgend

Job Description

Here at New Directions Education, we’re currently looking for Teaching Assistants to work within local schools to support pupils with additional learning needs within the Bridgend area. The role will require you to work 1:1 to support the pupil with behavioural and emotional needs.

To be considered for this position you will need to have a background working with children or display transferable skills from previous roles, this will be required alongside the passion and confidence to positively impact children’s educational experience. Previous employment working with children with additional learning needs is advantageous but not essential.

This is a long-term position working 20 hours per week between 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Due to the needs of the pupil, it is essential you can commit to these hours until July 2024. If you feel you have the skills and criteria for this, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
