We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team in Barry. The successful candidate will work closely with the classroom teachers to support the learning and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers with planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Provide one-to-one support or small group support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Foster positive relationships with students, teachers and parents
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting student learning.
  • Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 teaching assistants)
