Job Description

New Directions are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work on a part time basis in a small primary school in the Carmarthenshire area. This position is in a Welsh medium school so the ability to speak and write fluently in Welsh is essential. You will be required to work 3 days per week on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday although additional work may become available. As an LSA you will be working with groups of children in both the foundation phase and key stage 2 on a rotation basis. The focus will be on literacy and numeracy but other topics will also be covered.

This is a rural school and not easily accessible via public transport therefore your own transport would be an advantage.

New Directions offer competitive rates of pay and free training courses and webinars to aid your career progression.
