Sadly all good things must come to an end, and today was the last day of the pilot of New Directions’ Summer Club. We have hosted a wide range of activities from felt making and puppetry to sports and even dance contests, and the children have had a great time.
For our last day we will be having a party, making our own s’mores from biscuits and marshmallows, and enjoying some snacks and music. The children are sad to see the end of the summer club, and as you can see they quite literally don’t want to let go of Oliver!
This was our pilot scheme, so we will be evaluating the success of the summer club and feedback we have received before making a decision on whether future summer clubs will be held. If you have any feedback or ideas for us, or would like to make find out about future summer clubs, please get in touch.
