New Directions Wrexham deliver donation to Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn

Senior Account Manager for our Wrexham team, Rebecca Macintyre was on hand recently at Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn to present the schools with a cheque for funds raised of £300.

Rebecca is our point of contact for schools across Denbighshire, and she was delighted to share the presentation with Eleri Thomas from the school and a host of the pupils. Speaking about the opportunity to support the school Rebecca said ‘it’s always great to give back to our communities. We work with some really inspirational people across North Wales and being able to assist their ambitions as a business within the region is so rewarding.

Eleri Thomas from the school added ‘Thank you very much again for the donation it is very much appreciated – pupils and staff are having fun preparing their shopping list! The money will go towards equipment for sensory breaks on our secondary site.

Sensory breaks are a way for our pupils, whether they have sensory needs or not, to reset, decompress, and get the blood flowing back into their brains. We all know that children learn best through movement and exploring with their hands. Giving them breaks throughout their day lets their brains take a rest and reset, but they are also still learning vital life skills in these sensory breaks. Thank You!’.
