New Directions are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive languages department in a welcoming school based in St. Helens starting September though until Easter half term. We are looking for a passionate educator who can deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4
The successful candidate will help foster a love of languages and other cultures, equipping students with the skills and confidence to communicate in a global society. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT, you will be joining a school that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.
As a MFL Teacher you’ll be expected to:
Hold a PGCE and UK QTS
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
Maintain discipline.
Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
A strong academic background MFL or related discipline
To deliver religious education lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 – 16 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.
The Successful MFL Teacher must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience Of Teaching Spanish and French
Knowledge of the National Curriculum
Able to provide Referees.
An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
Eligibility to work in the UK.
