New Directions Education are currently recruiting a passionate and committed Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) to work in primary schools across Chester and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their skills in supportive and welcoming school environments.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching, supporting pupil progress, and creating an engaging and inclusive classroom experience.
The Role:
• Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting (including placements for ECTs)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young learners
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
