We’re recruiting for a friendly and inclusive primary school in Wavertree seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to become part of their dedicated and supportive staff team. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is dedicated to helping children develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning during the early stages of their education.

The Role
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Create a positive and structured classroom environment that supports learning and behaviour
• Support pupils’ progress in phonics, reading, writing, and maths
• Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
• Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote pupil achievement
• Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with school expectations
The Ideal Candidate
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1 or a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Is passionate about supporting children’s academic and personal development
• Has a positive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• Works effectively as part of a team and is committed to maintaining high standards across the school
