New Directions Education are currently working in partnership with a Leeds, SEN Provision, who are actively recruiting for a pool of dedicated and compassionate SEN Teachers ahead of the new Academic Year (2026/2027), both full time and part time placements. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an inclusive, nurturing environment that cater to learners with complex learning needs.
We want to hear from:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with children and young people with SEND in a mainstream or specialist setting
Strong understanding of SEN strategies, inclusive teaching practices, and behaviour management
Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting vulnerable learners
Creative
You will be working with learners across all phases, providing tailored support both in and out of the classroom. The role involves:
Deliver high-quality, individualised teaching to learners
Develop and adapt resources to support a diverse range of learning styles and abilities
Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, therapists, and families
Implement EHCP targets and track/monitor pupil progress
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
